After three years of planning to be in Washington, DC, at the right time and the right place to witness the peak bloom of cherry blossoms, we finally got there. Despite all the crowds (it felt like everyone and their grandmother was there, going to town with selfies with the blossoms!) and the chilly weather that made moving around really cumbersome, it. was. spectacular.
