My first spring in New York City was colorful. We spent a sunny afternoon among tulips of the brightest and prettiest colors I have ever seen at West Side Community Garden’s Tulip Festival 2016. Then we strolled over to Central Park to catch some delicate little lavender and white cherry blossoms.
I did not expect to feel as homesick as I have in these last few days, but I guess endless white winter can do that you. The flowers helped. Everything looked a bit more prettier and cheerful than it usually is and my heart was happy. 🙂
